NAVAL, Biliran – An estimated 600-800 full cases of bottled beer spilled on the street near Naval Catholic Cemetery in Brgy. Calumpang at around 12:15 a.m.
Jason Quizol y Alboro, 28, the driver of the six wheeler truck involved in the accident, said that the truck’s wheel did not go up when he tried to drive in reverse.
Initial investigation disclosed that the driver maneuvered in reverse when entering Charlie Chong warehouse. When the left rear wheel slipped, this resulted in the truck’s cargo to fall.
Alboro estimated the total cost damage of the cases of beer at Php300,000.
Meanwhile, the citizens expressed their disappointment over the said incident.
