KAWAYAN, Biliran – A 35 – year old woman was electrocuted when a cut Bileco wire accidentally fell on the ground she was walking.
The victim was identified as Bernadette Briones Pahayahay, a resident of Brgy. Ungale, Kawayan.
The woman was brought to the Biliran Provincial Woman for medical treatment, but was declared dead on arrival (DOA) by the attending physician.
BILECO has yet to issue a statement on this unfortunate incident. -BiliranIsland.com
