NAVAL, Biliran – A 50-YEAR-OLD man died after his motorcycle collided with another motorcycle along the highway of Barangay Calumpang, Naval, Biliran last Nov. 25, 2018, 3:20 AM.
Florentino Bacusmo Jr., driver of a Skygo motorcycle (HA63485) and resident of Sitio Mangga, Barangay Calumpang, Naval, sustained severe head injuries and passed away this morning, Nov. 27 at 3:00 AM, at Biliran Provincial Hospital.
Initial investigation conducted by PNP Naval showed that a Honda Wave motorcycle (No plate), driven by Alvin Petilos, 19 years old, male, single, resident of Larrazabal, Naval was travelling along the highway. He was about to turn left going to Barangay Larrazabal, while the Skygo motorcycle was from Sitio Bliss, Calumpang heading to Naval proper, when the collision happened.
Both driver was immediately brought to Biliran Provincial Hospital for medical treatment.
Investigation revealed that the driver of the Skygo motorcycle, who was apparently under the influence of liquor, was driving carelessly in disregard of traffic rules. – BiliranIsland.com
