CABUCGAYAN, Biliran – Three persons died after the cargo truck loaded with coco lumber they boarded lost its brake while going downhill in Barangay Talibong, Cabucgayan at 4pm today.
Cabucgayan Mayor Edwin Masbang earlier reported that one of the cargo truck passengers died on the spot while attempt was made to save the other two trapped inside the cargo truck who later died due to serious injuries.
The said cargo truck with plate number TNR 193 came from Daan Bantayan, Cebu.
The police are still establishing the identity of the victims.
